Director: Megan Mylan
In a custom-designed facility in Mt. Kisco, New York, a very special program brings together elders with dementia and young children. The kids look right past the dementia, connecting instead with the people who have gotten lost underneath.
Megan Mylan directed and produced the Oscar®-winning film Smile Pinki, broadcast on HBO and the Sundance Channel. Her film, Lost Boys of Sudan, had a 70-city theatrical release and a national television broadcast on PBS’s POV. Megan also directed Batidania on Brazilian resistance music and worked on a variety of films including the Oscar®-nominated, Long Night’s Journey Into Day and the Sundance Award winning film Sing Faster.
