An Evening of Chamber Music with the Neave Trio
Shandelee Music Festival audiences just can’t get enough of the popular “Evening of Chamber Music” during the Sunset Concert Series. And so, returning to the Festival after their triumphant 2019 performance is the esteemed Neave Trio.
Formed in 2010, the Neave Trio – violinist Anna Williams, cellist Mikhail Veselov and pianist Eri Nakamura – has earned much praise from radio station WQXR, Fanfare Magazine, The New York Times and BBC Radio 3. The Boston Musical Intelligencer said, “it is inconceivable that they will not soon be among the busiest chamber ensembles going. …”
The Saturday, August 14 program will feature the music of Rachmaninov, Ravel and Brahms, and will be performed at the Shandelee Music Festival’s fully accessible, climate-controlled Sunset Concert Pavilion, located at 442 J. Young Road, Livingston Manor.
All performances in the Sunset Concert Series begin at 8 p.m. and are followed by a specialty dessert reception. Tickets are $35 for adults, $30 for SMF members, and $10.00 for students 17 and under. And a virtual concert ticket is available for $20. Advanced reservations are required by calling 845-439-3277. Or purchase your tickets and get more information online at www.shandelee.org.
