THE 17TH ANNUAL “ART IN SIXES”
The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) will host the 17th annual “Art in Sixes” small works exhibition from Saturday, November 20 – Wednesday, December 23, in its galleries located at 37 Main Street, Narrowsburg, NY in what has become one of the most anticipated small works group exhibitions in the region. This year’s exhibit features hundreds of small-scale artworks by more than 140 local and regional artists.
“Art in Sixes”, as the title implies, is a small works exhibition. It provides something unique for everyone in a size that fits anywhere. Whether you’re an art connoisseur, a browser, a collector, or someone in need of that perfect gift, this event is not to be missed. Exhibitors are both new and established artists from the region and beyond (no reproductions are accepted).
The work featured includes painting, photography, collage, sculpture, fiber art, and intimate drawings. All are one of a kind and every work of art is six inches or less in any direction. Prices generally range from $60 to $600. This year will include the first-ever “Sixes” video entry, featuring six vignettes running six minutes in total and purchasable as an NFT (non-fungible token)
Due to continued concerns around COVID and public safety, the exhibition will once again be extended into our Loft Gallery space allowing for ‘social distancing where guests can comfortably see selected groups of works. Attendance at the exhibition on the opening weekend (November 19-21) will be by advance registration, via DVAA’s website.
In lieu of an opening reception, opening weekend visitor slots will be initially reserved for participating artists and DVAA members at the Sponsor level and higher. Unreserved slots will be made available to the public one day prior. Viewers are welcome with masks, and asked to abide by social distancing, and occupancy restrictions.
