IN-PERSON PREMIERE
In this collaborative short film, an unnamed businessman and dancer are roused from their daily routines to undertake a dreamlike journey through Upper Manhattan. Observing and participating in rites of passage, they find themselves surrounded by a troupe of bohemian artists, tricksters, and fools.

Director’s Bio
Manon Manavit is an ‘outsider dance’ practitioner, interdisciplinary artist and director of performance events that engage and complement the outdoors, historic sites, and urban oddities. She has created live installations for the Autry Museum of the American West, Little Berlin Gallery, Slought Foundation, World Dance Awards, Philadelphia Freedom Festival, and the Deep Water Literary Festival. She wrote and directed CITY OF GHOSTS, an existential mystery play performed in the windows of the DVAA’s backlot in 2020. She has consulted for LA Opera, Capitol Records, Rock Mafia Studios, and The Wooster Group. She is an Artistic Associate of Farm Arts Collective, whose outdoor performances merge art and ecology.
