Volunteer

Here is the volunteer schedule for 2021 Big Eddy Film Festival.  Please note our Covid restrictions listed below–they are also posted on our website as tickets are purchased.  Except for one shift in Krause Hall at the DVAA in Narrowsburg all other shifts are at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel NY.  You can sign up by going to myvolunteerpage.com or emailing Jeff Allison at jc_allison at msn.com.  All shifts begin a half hour before the scheduled film so it’s important to be on time for the shift.  The shift time ends with the conclusion of the film being shown during that shift.

COVID-19 Rules for the Big Eddy Film Festival

The Big Eddy Film Festival and the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance take your safety seriously, along with the safety of everyone who attends our events. Based upon guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control, the NYS Department of Health and Sullivan County Public Health Services, we are requiring the following in response to the current COVID-19 situation in our area:

  • Proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination (two shots for the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, one shot for the J&J vaccine) must be provided upon entry to any festival area. Acceptable proof can be either an official paper vaccination card or the digital NYS Excelsior app. Such proof must be provided by all guests, unless they are under 12 years of age (for which there currently is no approved vaccine).
  • All participants in the festival – guests, volunteers and staff – must wear a facial mask that covers their mouth and nose, whether indoors or outdoors. This includes children over 2 years of age. Masks can only be removed at the festival when food/drink is being consumed.
  • Social distancing should be maintained at all times from others outside your own party. Seating and other accommodations will be arranged to minimize close contact.
  • If you are feeling ill in any way, for any reason, please do NOT attend a festival event. Anyone who is obviously ill will be asked to leave festival grounds.
